Residential interior design
Interior design is about making the most of your space and possessions
Don’t worry, there’s no need to chuck everything out! We’ll work with you to help go through those special one-of-a-kind items that your house just wouldn’t feel like home without. From there, we can see where additions and investments should be made.
These can include:
Re-upholstering existing soft furnishings
Upcycling old but well-loved items
New items sourced from specialist artisanal makers
Bespoke furniture made to fit you and your home like a handmade suit
Designing your space: What’s on offer?
We’ll start by asking: “who’s using the space?”; “what they’re using it for?” & “what time of day does it get the most use?”
Working to a budget set by you, we’ll create a design moodboard for you. You won’t just be seeing the design idea, you can touch and feel it too.

Getting the best deal
We supply the lighting, fabrics, wallpaper and furniture from a network of trusted manufacturers and suppliers at the best possible prices.
Wendy says: “After more than 30 years in interior design, I can source from pretty much anywhere to get the best deal for products that balance and enhance your individual space.”
It’s difficult to relax in a room that’s lit up like an operating theatre, and you can’t cook up a feast in an underlit kitchen!
Lighting is important.
Wendy says: “When I walk into a room, I can instantly see how the natural light will change throughout the day, and even at different times of the year.”
At Wendyhouse Interiors we’ll work with you to create practical, beautiful lighting ideas which allow you to make the most of each room all day, every day.
Going the extra mile (literally)
“In my eyes, there’s nothing worse than poor quality product design.
I’ll travel long distances to check the quality of fabrics, furniture, wallpaper and specialist products at first hand – before they make it into your home.
When I design something, it has to be right. That’s why I work on every project with the care and attention to detail that I’d put into my own home.”
